One half of a popular couple declared that their relationship was officially over on Instagram this past weekend. Was it surprising? No.
In this social media age it’s so easy to want to overshare and even make a profit from doing so but at what cost?
I see many people brand and package themselves for monetary gain, and in other cases for attention or popularity. I don’t have a issue with it after all it’s your life, your prerogative, however the problem ensues when you begin to suffer greatly from it. When your well-being is the price to pay for your decisions then it’s time to rethink your choices.
To keep it short, the things you value should be protected and kept sacred. If you want it to last and have a fighting chance of thriving then limit the exposure that you have given it, even if it’s just for a time.
Relationships of any kind are hard work and definitely not a walk in park but more importantly should not be pawned off for the sole purpose of attracting business opportunities or monetary means. You must do what’s best for you and yours, spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically, because when the lights go out, only you will have to deal with consequences.
So as you go about your daily activities this week, keep these things in mind:
Protect your relationships
Protect your mind
Protect your energy
Protect your space
Protect your heart
Protect your aspirations
Protect the things you hold precious so that they may live long and prosper.
Nurture them silently, seek counsel from those who have bore fruits that you want to have, from doers, from achievers, from wise people, and this will give you a better opportunity to do well in life.
